Roderic joined the Office of the Complaint Commissioner in December 2004. Prior to this he had worked in compliance and monitoring roles for a product provider, an IFA network and a regulator.

He has professional qualifications through both the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Securities and Investment Institute along with his academic qualifications in Ancient History and Law.

Outside work Roderic spends his time playing hockey for Spencer Hockey Club and he also sits on the England Hockey Youth Committee. In the summer he plays Australian Rules Football for the Wimbledon Hawks.
